Race "Escape from Mezhyhirya" - is the most creative annual race in Ukraine, which takes place in late November in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Kyiv region. It is organised by biggest running club Ukraine "Top Runners". The competition programme includes two races of 10 and 5 kilometres.

History
Every athlete who has expressed a desire to participate in the "Escape from Mezhyhirya" racemust be registered. At the same time, it is necessary to provide personal data and pay the registration fee, the final amount of which depends on the date of registration and the chosen discipline. At the end of the race, each participant will receive a hot meal, a lottery, as well as traditional commemorative medals, diplomas and souvenirs, and an original photo as a souvenir.
Route
The route of the race runs through Mezhyhirya Park and its picturesque corners, where the former residence of fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych is located.
The surface type is asphalt. The track is well marked. During the competition, there are volunteers and doctors on hand to help at any time.
