History
The half marathon "Bialystok Half Marathon" is a half marathon that takes place in the city of Bialystok and is part of the Crown of Polish Half Marathons (“Crown of Polish Half Marathons”) together with Warsaw, Poznan, races in Gdynia and Wroclaw. The competition has been held every year since 2012, and each time more and more participants are gathered not only from Poland, but also from other countries of the world. So, in 2019, about 5,000 athletes took part in it.
In 2020, due to the situation with COVID-19, the starts were postponed to the spring of the following year.
Registration for participation in the half-marathon takes place, as usual, online on the official website of the half-marathon. In registration fee includes only the starting number with timing chip, but also includes a goody bag, information booklet, overnight accommodation in the gym, lockers for personal belongings, food and hydration areas, finisher's medal, changing rooms, post-finish shower and massage, participant diploma and medical assistance as needed Upon arrival at the venue of the competition, each athlete must receive his own starting package and number, providing identification.
Route
Route half marathon in Bialystok passes through the well-paved streets of the green city, along the Biala River, through the Las Zwierzyniecki Nature Reserve. The race starts from the Branicki Castle - a residence of the 18th century, which is also called the "Versailles of Podlaskie". The finish line of the half-marathon is not far from the start - near the city hall.

Half marathon course has a PLZA certificate and AIMS, and is also the owner of the European Athletics Quality Road Race mark. It is well marked and has 4 hydration points at 5, 10, 14 and 18 kilometers. The organizers also took care of the high security of the competition. All car traffic along the route is closed for the duration of the race, and volunteers, police, doctors and rescue services are constantly present.
